  • Diarrhea, cough, rashes in severe case

Tips to Soothe Teething Baby

Washcloth- Damp a washcloth, keep it in the freezer for 4 to 5 minutes before giving it to the baby. For more effectiveness you can tie a knot at one end and give it to your little baby. He will surely enjoy biting the washcloth and it will help in soothing the baby gums.

Pacifier/ Bottle's nipple- Pacifiers are good for teething babies as well, if you do not use a pacifier for your little one then you can give the feeding bottle with the nipple on it. Baby will automatically start chewing the nipple, making sure you are giving a clean feeding bottle. Also, always use a BPA free bottle.

Toothbrush- You can give a soft bristle toothbrush also to soothe the gums of your baby. This will also help in developing a habit of brushing teeth just by keeping the brush in mouth.

Teething gloves- I personally find this one a good option, teething gloves(Buy online) are just perfect to give babies. These gloves are made up of good quality material and help to relieve teething. Babies drool as well while teething, so these mitten cum gloves just soak all the drool as well. Best part for moms is that it's easy to clean.

Mesh feeder- This option is also one of my favorites, when my baby starts solid I just put some fruits like pomegranate, grapes or cherry into the mesh feeder(Buy online) and give it to my baby. This helps in soothing the baby gums as well as a good option to feed fruit juice to babies.

Teething sticks- You can buy teething sticks(Buy online), these are good to relieve baby gums. They are made up of edible things like wheat, ragi, jaggery, etc. So you can also try that. You can also make your teething sticks for your baby. The recipe for this is very simple, you can also try, read the article link in bio.

Silicon spoon- Some mommies give a steel spoon to their teething which is also a good idea. But I feel the baby may get hurt with the hardness of the spoon so I used to give my baby a silicon spoon.

Mamma’s hand- Ohh so this is not the last but I guess this is the first thing every baby tries to do. You can massage the baby’s gum with your finger. This helps to soothe your baby giving relief from teething pain. Daddy’s can also participate and boost their bonding with their baby.
