The homemade oats and dates energy bars are so easy to make and a perfect healthy snack for pre or post workout and breakfast. You can even give it to your kids (1.5 years and above), as it is made full of healthy ingredients.
What I like about these homemade energy bars is that you have all control over the ingredients you add in.
This energy bar is rich in protein and fiber, as its main ingredients are oats, dates and nuts. All it took me about 25- 30 minutes to put together and make this yummy healthy energy bar.

Energy bar ingredients
Plain Oats- 1 cup
Peanuts- 1/2 cup
Flax seeds- 2 tbsp
Almonds- 10- 12
Seedless Dates- 5-6
Sesame seeds-2tbsp
Jaggery- 1 tbsp
Honey- 1 tbsp
Date syrup- 1-2 tbsp

How to make energy bars
Roast plain oats, sesame seeds and peanuts separately in a pan. Meanwhile chop the almonds into small pieces.
Blend roasted oats, peanuts, sesame seeds, dates, and flax seeds in a mixer to a coarse powder.
Take 1 tbsp of flax seeds and blend to a fine powder. Add 2 tbsp of water to it and make a mixture of it.
Now mix all the ingredients together and put the mixture into a cake bake tin. Make sure your cake tin is greased with oil.
For a final garnishing sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the energy bar.
Bake for 15 minutes, cool it and cut it into pieces. Store it in the fridge for 2 weeks.
